Graham Aylett, the founder of Aylett Investigations has over 25 year’s experience in investigations.

He is an ex-Detective Sergeant of the New Zealand Police and an ex-Detective Sergeant of the Metropolitan Police in London, England. He has over 20 years policing service in a Detective capacity based at New Scotland Yard. He brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the private sector of investigation.

His ability to investigate and deliver have been commended by various Police Commissioners on eleven separate occasions with comments “outstanding detective ability, resilience, professionalism, tenacity, leadership and dedication to duty.”

During Graham’s career, he worked closely with the Security Services in Saudi Arabia and was involved in training Saudi Police and Special Forces in various investigative techniques, including forensic investigation, homicides and surveillance. He is also an experienced surveillance operative and has managed numerous successful surveillance operations in the UK and New Zealand.

Graham was a lead investigator of the London Terrorist Bombings of 7 July 2005 and the subsequent investigation for those responsible for the attempted bombing of the London Transport system on 21 July 2005. As case officer to this investigation his tenacity led to the successful conviction of 16 terrorists who are now serving an imprisonment period in excess of 450 years. His role in this enquiry led to Judge’s Commendation for his outstanding professionalism, commitment and dedication to duty.

As a professional investigator Graham has used his skills and ability to great effect in the private sector and can communicate at all levels. He has assisted NZ’s leading insurers, barristers and law firms achieving results and recognition for his work.

He is an experienced Fraud investigator, having successfully investigated numerous high value frauds leading to the recovery of these monies. He also investigated a complicated commercial fraud involving the loss of $500,000 worth of fish product stock by using state of the art CCTV surveillance and forensic examination of the company’s accounts. His role in this investigation was praised by the current NZ Police Commissioner Peter Marshall
